www.weacceptpets.co.uk Greens Farm, Buxton, Derbyshire / ACCEPTS DOGS & SMALL PETS

Greens Farm is a stone built farm holiday cottage, dating back over 300 years. It is part of a complete 25 acre smallholding with the original farm buildings in good condition and the surrounding land still used to graze cattle and produce hay in the summer.

Greens Farm accepts dogs & small pets; you can view this self catering property on our website www.weacceptpets.co.uk by clicking on the link provided below:

The self catering cottage is situated in an area known as Gradbach, which is in Quarnford the most northerly parish in Staffordshire. It is close to the village of Flash (now officially the highest village in Britain) and local landmarks such as Three Shires Head where the counties of Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire meet and is less than one mile from the river Dane which forms the boundary between Staffordshire and Cheshire.

The holiday cottage is situated against what was one of the original road to Flash and offers superb views of the surrounding countryside and excellent local walks. It is used by people who want to explore the Peak District as well as those who enjoy walking.

Locally the accommodation offers some interesting walks and landmarks. Three Shires Head as the name suggests is the meeting place of three counties and is around two miles away. It was supposedly used centuries ago by counterfeiters, living near to Flash, to escape over the boundary and avoid arrest.
