holiday accommodation is comprised of a spacious living room with underfloor
heating, a dining area and garden doors leading out to an enclosed patio and
garden. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and
washing machine.
Castlehaven
is the nearest rocky cove, about a twenty minute walk away, and the seaside
town of Ventnor with pretty beaches and superb choice of restaurants about a
fifteen minute drive. Compton Bay is further along the coast to the West with
its unspoilt beaches and good surf. Look out for the fossilised dinosaur
footprints!
There
are many different attractions on the Island. Popular with the children are
Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill or the IW Glassworks and Chessell Pottery. There
is ten pin bowling and ice skating in Ryde, or the zoo at Sandown with its white
tigers, plenty of good, clean beaches or just admiring the beautiful and
unspoilt scenery.
