Both
self catering properties have been recently renovated to a very high standard.
They are situated on Persabus Farm, a working hebridean sheep farm which has
been managed by the Fletcher family for generations. The cottages boast a
secluded position within one mile of the ferry terminal at Port Askaig, with
unsurpassed views of the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura.
The
self catering cottages combine the traditional with comfort and all modern
conveniences. They are capable of sleeping four to six people and have full oil
fired central heating included in the price.
Outside
the self catering cottages there is ample parking space off the quiet single
track road leading to the village of Bunnahabhain and the distillery, one of
eight on the island. There is also a pottery on the farm where the Fletcher
brothers produce some of the finest handcrafted pottery in the Scottish
Highlands.
