Just three miles from the lovely market town of Keswick and only fifteen minutes walk from Bassenthwaite Lake, it is perfectly situated for exploring the Northern Lakes and fells and is ideal for walkers and cyclists.

Jasmine Cottage is a family run business and we are a family of animal lovers with dogs (and cats) of our own. We understand the need to find accommodation that suits both you and your pet(s) and we are therefore happy to welcome well behaved and house trained dogs at the cottage.

There are stunning views from the village towards the majestic fells of Skiddaw, Blencathra, The Dodds and Helvelyn. Bassenthwaite Lake is just fifteen minutes walk from the cottage and Ospreys have been nesting close to its’ shores every year since 2005. These magnificent birds can often been seen fishing in the lake and have even been spotted flying directly above the village.
