The B&B is located just off the High Street in the charming market town of Moffat which is on the A701 approximately 1.5 miles from junction 15 on the A 74(M) and is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area of Dumfries and Galloway.

The charming and attractive town of Moffat lies on the river Annan in the heart of the beautiful countryside in the Dumfries & Galloway area. Moffat B&B has won both the Scotland in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions several times with their displays on the High Street and station park.

In the 19th century the town was used as a coaching stop and Spa Town. Moffat played a vital part in the wool trade and the statue of the Ram in the Market Place commemorates this part of the town’s heritage: the monument was erected in 1857 in recognition of the town’s agricultural success. The Moffat museum with its three floors of displays provide you a clear picture about the Spa heritage of the town, geology of the region, famous families of the town and its railroad heritage.
