Taunton is approx. 10 miles away, as is the lace making
and pottery town of Honiton which has numerous antique shops, a delicious ice
cream parlour and hosts numerous farmers markets.
The city of Exeter, county town of Devon, with its
Cathedral, underground passages and extensive shopping is 20 miles, with the
motorway (junction 26) and the Sports centre at Wellington being only 5 miles.
The nearest Railway Station is at Tiverton Parkway and motorway Junction 27
being less than 10 miles.
