The views from the self catering accommodation are spectacular, to the south across the minch lie the Cuillins, to the west, past Longa Island, is the northern tip of Skye, and to the east, beyond a magnificent sandy beach and Gairloch Loch, are the Torrison Hills. Sea eagles, seals and whales have been seen from the south facing patio, and many other birds and wildlife.

Local facilities include hillwalking, fishing & a golf course. Pont trekking, beach activities and Inverewe gardens (N.T.S). The property has a 3 person sauna in the bathroom and games and books are provided.

Gairloch has a good variety of shops, a bank, medical centre, library, leisure centre and an award winning museum. There are a variety of hotels and cafes locally.
