It is a quiet, peaceful location. The self catering cottage is constructed from a former Cart Shed and Granary, inside it has a lovely open aspect, with high ceilings and exposed beams. There are distant views of the surrounding countryside.

Spikers Hill Farm is conveniently situated for Scarborough, Filey, Robin Hood's Bay, and Whitby. Close by is Pickering and its Steam railway to Goathland (Heartbeat country). Scenic villages of Thornton-le Dale,Hutton-le Hole, Castle Howard, and only 45 minutes from York.
