Straw Bale Cabin has a very special feel. Everyone remarks upon it. Perhaps it
is the natural materials used throughout, the care and attention to detail, or
the fact that it is handmade especially for you.

Market Place and Bridge Gate are home to a wealth of small friendly shops;
fresh fruit and vegetables at Annie’s, bread and cakes at Fuller’s or
Atkinson’s and meat from the comical Mr Parkin or Mr Featherstone. With its flat topography and abundant quiet
lanes, tracks and footpaths, the Howden area is perfect for walking. A copy of
Ordnance Survey Explorer 291 is provided for use by guests.
