Whilst staying in either of the self catering holiday cottages, guests are welcome to explore the woodland and farm near Ploughman’s Cottage.

The cottage itself can be used as a retreat for couples, but is also a convenient base for family holidays in the North Shropshire countryside. If you are attending an event in the area and need a pied-a-terre, a weekend in Herdsman's Cottage may be a good alternative to serviced accommodation, as you can stay longer and don't need to eat out, so it is often more economic.

These cottages are ideal, as the ground floors have quarry tile floors, and we are happy to let you keep the dog with you in the living areas. However, please don't let them into the bedrooms upstairs.
