They
are situated on the side of a hill with panoramic views over Fishguard Bay and
the Preseli Hills. You are welcome to explore the 126 acres of fields and
moorland with badgers, foxes, rabbits, many birds and carpets of wild flowers
in the spring.
Fishguard
is 5 miles to the north and the Cathedral City of St. Davids is 12 miles to the
south. The cottages are approx. 2 miles from the National Trust beaches of
Aberbach and Abermawr and the spectacular cliff walks of the Pembrokeshire
Coastal Path where you may see seal pups on the rocks in the autumn. It is an
ideal retreat for those looking to relax and unwind.
There
are plenty of activities nearby including horse riding, fishing at Llys y Fran,
bird watching and walking the coast path. Day trips to the RSPB reserve on
Ramsey Island or the island of Skomer which is run by The South & West
Wales Wildlife Trust. A day trip on a Stena ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare in
Ireland is also possible.
