The Old Sheaf Store is in the newest section of the barn of Red House Farm having been built around 1830. We have named it after its original usage.

To take advantage of wonderful views along the dale and into the Esk Valley, we have put the living area upstairs and the two double bedrooms on the ground floor.

The Holiday Cottages of Red House Farm have full electric central heating, wood stoves, fan heaters, TVs in the sitting room and double bedrooms, radio/cassette players, Wi-Fi, automatic washing machine/tumble dryer, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

Walking and sight-seeing are the most popular activities for the area, but we are happy to arrange or provide contact numbers for fishing, riding or mountain bike hire. If you wish to fish for salmon or sea trout, it is wise to book in advance during the autumn. Although there are sections of the river open to the public, these tend to get heavily used when the salmon are running.
