The holiday cottage is situated in the Dartmoor National Park overlooking the village of Horrabridge near Yelverton. Moor's Edge Cottage is five miles south of the market town Tavistock, and within easy reach of Exeter, Plymouth and Cornwall.

The holiday cottage is located in Horrabridge, a riverside village twinned with Tilly-Sur-Seulles in France. It is located right next to the beautiful Dartmoor National Park in the county of Devon and the bridge itself is the oldest in West Devon.

The village spans the four parishes of Buckland Monachorum, Whitchurch, Sampford Spiney and Walkhampton and the name Horrabridge means "bridge on the boundary". The medieval bridge which spans the River Walkham in the centre of Horrabridge has a salmon leap and is the oldest bridge in West Devon.
