We are
in a great location for a family break away and there are many stunning walks
in the surrounding area that you, your family and your beloved dog will love.
At
Miners Cottage we have tried to create a rural retreat with a real feel of
luxury. Fabrics and furniture have been chosen to complement our cosy country
cottage and each room has a charm of its own. A generous welcome pack of a
homemade cake and our own free range eggs, in addition to tea, coffee, sugar,
milk and fresh flowers is provided.
Sheldon
is a delightful village that is at the edge of the White Peak plateau. There
are many spectacular views and the area has been largely untouched so is ideal
for those relaxing breaks away. The most prominent and familiar feature
standing starkly silhouetted on the Sheldon skyline like a giant finger
pointing to the sky, is the chimney stack rising from the skeletal remains of
the old Magpie Mine.
