The Old Farmhouse is a delightful traditional Lakeland 16th century country cottage in the heart of the Lake District. Beautifully and carefully furnished to a high standard, sympathetic to the age of the cottage and creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. 

The cottage is in a quiet location approached along a private drive leading to a narrow farm track. It is ideally situated close to Hawkshead village with easy access into the village either down the drive or across the fields whilst enjoying the magnificent views. 

There are plenty of walks nearby, golf, sailing, cycling and fishing in the nearby tarn. Hawkshead is a bustling village with its many good pubs and little shops, an easy ten minute stroll away, its buildings echoing the past and history going back some four hundred years.
