Situated in the traditional Highland village of Newtonmore, our house provides first class accommodation and excellent meals in a very relaxing environment. The house is set in an acre of gardens with ample parking for all guests, but only a few minutes walk from the village. Newtonmore is just south of Aviemore in Inverness-shire, and lies within the border of the Cairngorms National Park.

There are seven bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms, offering a mix of double, family, twin and single accommodation.

Dinner is available at Alvey House on request. Please let us know during booking or at breakfast.

In Newtonmore Village itself, take time to visit the Highland Folk Museum, the Waltzing Waters (a light and sound spectacle), and the Clan Macpherson Museum. Browse in the local antique shop or gallery where local artists' work are on display.

A trip of between 3 and 20 miles from the village will take you to the Highland Wildlife Park beyond Kingussie, Cairngorm Gliding Club at Feshiebridge, Dalwhinnie Distillery and the Landmark Centre at Carrbridge.
