The
George Hotel was once home to the meeting of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and is
now a wonderful place for people to retreat too as we have spectacular views
over the Cley marshes and bird reserve looking out towards Blakeney Harbour.

Dogs
are welcome in the bar and front restaurant, we have a great kiddies menu and
on the colder days we have a roaring open fire going to warm up the cockles of
your heart. Both you and your dogs will love staying with us at the hotel.
The
Norfolk coastal path runs through the village and leads off to the enchanting
cliff tops and countryside walks in the surrounding area.
For
those of you who are staying with us to enjoy the variety of birds that are in
the area we would be happy to pass on any local knowledge and recent sightings!
The shingle beach and saline lagoons, along with the grazing marsh and reed bed
support large numbers of wintering and migrating wildfowl and waders, as well
as bittern, marsh harrier and bearded tit.
