Our pet friendly bed and breakfast is only a 10 minute
walk from the Oxted railway station, which has easy and direct connections with
London (30 minutes to London Bridge, 40 minutes to Victoria). Gatwick and
Heathrow are also easy by train. And yet people who live deep in the
countryside have remarked how quiet it is here.
A cross a couple of small fields from us is the
Limpsfield Tennis Club, with tennis, squash and badminton facilities and many
other activities. Temporary memberships are available. There are also several
golf courses nearby and the Limpsfield Golf Club is within walking distance.
And we are near to three long distance walks: the North Downs Way, the
Greensand Way and the Vanguard Way.
There are many attractions nearby: Hever, Chartwell,
Quebec House (where General Wolfe was born), Down House (the home of Charles
Darwin), Knole and Ightham Mote. Standen and Wakehurst Place are a bit further
but within easy reach. We can suggest many more places to visit.
