The
holiday cottages are only a short journey from Pickering and are location on
the North York Moors so are ideal for wild life enthusiasts, walkers and horse
riders.
The
surrounding countryside is excellent for walking, and we allow visitors to walk
over our fields. The scenery is beautiful and there is a stream running around
our land, in which we allow anyone to fish, or it is lovely to just sit by and
maybe have a picnic.
We are
situated midway between Rosedale Abbey and Pickering on the outskirts of
Cropton, within walking distance of Cropton forest and the North York Moors.
There are many tourist attractions in the area. The East Coast is a half hour
drive away i.e. Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey with many small
fishing villages along the way.
