Blaen-nant-y-groes is a former hill farm which comprises a farm-house with three adjoining stone cottages, a barn and stables, all set in fifteen acres of upland grazing and woodland.

It is situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The town of Aberdare is five minutes away, has a covered market and a variety of shops including Tesco and Asda supermarkets. Swansea and the Gower coast are a 40 minute drive. Cardiff, the Millenium Centre and Stadium are a 30 minute drive and both Cwmbach and Aberdare railway stations are 5 minutes away with trains every 30 minutes to the capital. The market town of Brecon with its international jazz festival, agricultural and farmers market and antique shops, is 30 minutes away.
