It is set
in a little cobbled road with the Valency River opposite, and the famous
medieval harbour wall is no more than a five minute walk away.
The
village and harbour have a very pleasant atmosphere of enjoyable outdoor
spaces. Boscastle is a typical Cornish fishing village, and is considered to be
one of Cornwall's most picturesque, with lots of quaint old cottages.
Well
behaved dogs are welcome, at no extra charge. Tintagel is close by, Rock,
Padstow, Port Isaac, Bodmin Moor, Crackington Haven, Trebarwith Strand and Bude
all within 15 miles, The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and Garden, and Trago
Mills not much further so there are plenty of lovely places to visit in the
area.
When
visiting the cottage you can enjoy the sea, lovely wide sandy beaches, dramatic
craggy coastline, secluded coves, nearby moorland and wonderful wooded river
valleys at any time of the year.
