Balkcote
is a barn conversion consisting of two properties, Balkcote and Henberry in a
peaceful setting with beautiful views of the surrounding countyside. It is
ideally placed for walking, the Teesdale Way passes the site and for visiting
places of historical and cultural interest in nearby Barnard Castle.
Balkcote
is situated on the ground floor wing of a stone-built detached barn.
Accommodation which sleeps 2 consists of a cosy open plan sitting room, kitchen
and dining area with patio door to the spacious garden and a double bedroom
with en-suite bathroom.
Henberry
is situated on the upper wing of the barn. The open plan accommodation consists
of a kitchen, dining and sitting area. There is an en-suite bathroom off the
double bedroom. Please note that this cottage is accessed by an external stone
staircase.
