We are a lodge that specialises in providing clean practical but compact rooms. Modelling ourselves on some of the larger budget chains but instead we offer budget prices. Our average ensuite rooms size is 10 sq metres and each room is equipped with tea / coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, fridge, hairdryer, ironing facilities and a power shower.

We operate self check in only for full flexibility where guests are free to come and go as they please. We are primarily a self service operation. 

Colchester town is a few minutes’ drive away or about 15 minutes on foot. The Community Stadium (Colchester United's football ground) is also within walking distance. Additionally, Colchester General Hospital can be reached on foot.  

The University of Essex is a short bus or train journey away. Across the road is a bus stop for routes to town. A short walk away you will find a variety of pubs and restaurants.
