Our pet friendly holiday cottage is ideally situated for
exploring the Suffolk Heritage coast, RSPB reserve at Minsmere and the Suffolk
Coastal Nature Reserve, which all have wonderful walks.
Southwold is a delightful, old fashioned seaside town
with beach huts, a lighthouse, bookshops, and an award winning pier. At the
harbour there are a number of places to buy freshly caught fish. Walberswick,
on the other side of the estuary, is a charming seaside village with dunes and
a large sandy beach.
Dunwich has a shingle beach and a very good fish and chip
restaurant.
There is an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants
in the area serving locally sourced produce. Outstanding amongst these is the
Fox and Goose Restaurant in Fressingfield itself.
