The B&B has low ceilings, blackened beams, stone
fireplaces and an atmosphere of unspoilt old world charm. The Inn has a fine
and growing reputation for providing real ale, fine wines and excellent food
which is served all day in the summer and lunchtimes and evenings in the
winter.
Our restaurant uses locally sourced produce where
possible. We have also recently started to offer traditional North Devon meals
to complement our seasonal menu.
We are ideally situated for exploring Exmoor and the
beautiful Doone Valley. The area offers great hiking and walking with over
1000km of footpaths and bridleways. Cycle hire is also available locally and
there are some great country lanes nearby. Other great activities close by
include fishing, golfing, shooting, canoeing and surfing.
