Charlton Hall Farm offers four self catering cottages that are located in Chathill, 6 miles from Alnwick, Northumberland. Each of the holiday cottages are of a country style and have open fires or wood burning stoves.

Charlton Hall Farm accepts dogs; you can view this Self Catering Property on our website www.weacceptpets.co.uk by clicking on the link provided below:

There is a fantastic round room adjoining this cottage, called a jin-gang in this part of the world, once used as a mule driven milling house for the farm. It can be used for barbequing or just hiding from the burning sunshine Northumberland seems to be experiencing these summers.

The garden is lovely and stretches around three sides of this property leading up steps into the woods from the west side.

Our holiday cottages are located close to the town of Alnwick which offers many shops, pubs and restaurants. Alnwick has now got the Alnwick Garden, a project of Her Grace, the Duchess of Northumberland. Spread over a 12 acre site, the garden boasts a range of unique experiences including the Poison Garden and the staggering tree house where dining is available in the boughs of the trees. If guests want to venture further afield then they can visit Northumberland which has wonderful shopping, the Sage Centre for performing arts and the Blinking Eye Bridge.
