Formerly a hunting lodge for the Marquis of Bute, the
Colintraive Hotel dates back to the 1850's and now still retains its original
character.
Colintraive Hotel accepts dogs & small pets; you can

Our hotel has four beautiful en suite bedrooms with
either country views or spectacular outlook across the Kyles. They offer
comfort and in this peaceful area you will awake refreshed and ready for your
day. All rooms have been tastefully furnished and walls display local art work.
Colintraive is a small village on the eastern coast of
the Cowal peninsula. It sits at the narrowest point in the Kyles of Bute -
barely more than a couple of hundred yards at this point - and is the place
from which the small CalMac car ferry departs to Rhubodach on the isle of Bute
opposite.
We can also offer self catering accommodation in our
country house, Eilean Dhu that can sleep up to 10 guests.
