The cottage has stunning views overlooking Loch Laxdale
and is in an ideal location for those who want to go angling, walking, cycling
or observing wildlife.
The cottage itself has a very cosy and traditional feel
and can sleep a maximum of 5 people. It has all the modern appliances that you
are used to at home whilst still being a secluded retreat set in its own
reserve in the Scottish countryside. Laxdale is well fitted with storage
heaters and portable electric heaters however, the fire is set ready for
guest’s arrival and the tariff includes a bag of coal.
The Isle of Harris is perfect if you are looking for a
holiday to get away form the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are
unspoilt sandy beaches including nearby Luskentyre & Seilebost, a variety
of walks across the moorland, beaches and hills and boat trips. Guests that are
staying at our holiday cottage can also obtain preferential rates for salmon
fishing on the Laxdale River and brown trout fishing elsewhere on Borve Lodge
Estate.
