As you arrive and open the stable door you can't help but feel at home as you enter the welcoming large lounge diner with views over the boatyard to the river. This spacious room features a large dining table looking out on the river along with plenty of lounge seating arranged around the impressive wood burner, perfect for relaxing during the cooler months.

The patio area to the back of the property is a large area which is a sun trap enjoying some late evening sun, so perfect for alfresco dining.

Skippers Rest is a large family cottage sleeping 8 over three floors and is accessed along the very gentle rise of East Street a few minutes from the heart of the village. Views over the river are a major feature of the property and the busy boatyard means that there is always something of interest to see. Bed linen and towels are included - pets on request. - SAT - SAT although can be flexible out of season.
