Pinewood Holiday Park is a small, family run site,
ideally situated within walking distance of the town centre, approximately two
miles, and there is pathway to follow all the way into the town. We are
extremely lucky to be surrounded by glorious open countryside within the
stunning Yorkshire Wolds, and yet so close to so many nearby attractions and
places to visit.
We have 3 separate areas; a touring caravan area, a
camping field and a Wild West themed campground, complete with Tipis, Western
Wagons, Cowboy Camping Shacks and Cabin.
Scarborough has 2 wonderful beaches, divided by the
castle headland, with the stunning castle looking down onto them. There's fun
to be had by all on the south beach with it's many amusement arcades, shops and
of course the traditional fish and chips restaurants, and the donkey rides. You
can have a trip on a pirate ship or take to the waves in a speed boat. The
north bay is the quieter beach, but you can still have fun making sand castles,
take a ride on the miniature railway, and enjoy an ice-cream.
If it's raining there's also the indoor swimming pool or
the cinema. Peasholm Park is a beautiful attraction; where you can feed the
ducks, ride a paddle boat swan, have a round of pitch and putt, or watch the
famous miniature war ships battle. The Sealife Centre is a great place to
visit, and there's plenty of shops and entertainment.
