The National trust property TyMawr which was the birth place of Bishop William
Morgan is only 500 yards away and also has its own nature trail walk.
Ty Coch dining room is called the Armoury due to the
historical weapons on the walls. It is a small personal dining room that seats
up to 9 people, 6 at the traditional long oak table and 3 at the window table.
It has a log burner for those cold mornings and a view out onto the valley
floor.
Narrow gauge railways, woollen mills, slate mines,
waterfalls, castles, golf and many more attractions are nearby.
