The cottage has its own garden and overlooks a millpond (hence the name) which is filled with wildlife. 

This self catering farm cottage is surrounded by farmland and is just half a mile from the village of Kildonan which is 12 miles from Brodick at the south end of the Isle of Arran. 

The farm self catering cottage is just a 5 minute walk from Arran's popular sandy beach and if you walk in the opposite direction you will come to a secluded rocky beach where you maybe lucky enough to see otters and seals.  

The village of Kildonan has a hotel where you can get meals and beverages. If you want local amenities then visit Brodick which has a supermarket and other shops. There are so many activities to do in the area such as golfing, cycling, horse riding, water sports and fishing. There are also lots of attractions nearby such as Brodick Castle and Lochranza Distillery.
