Once the stables and coach house of Watermouth Castle the holiday cottages were converted to 30 years ago. Watermouth Cove Cottages are situated beside the castle grounds just 200 yards from the harbour and South West coastal path. The cottages are set in a wooded valley and surrounded by lovely Devon countryside.

The cottage grounds are a haven for a wide range of wild life including squirrels, foxes and many birds such as woodpeckers, jays, goldfinches, nuthatches as well as the usual robins and blue tits.

Watermouth Cove is a rural seaside idyll within a short drive of beautiful Berrynarbor and the beach resorts of Combe Martin and Ilfracombe with a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and local attractions.

Ilfracombe, a couple of miles west of Watermouth Cove, has Rapparee, Hele Bay and Tunnels beaches, with delightful walks and gardens. There is an exceptionally scenic coastal golf course and boat trips are available for fishing and to visit Lundy Island. Ilfracombe has a swimming pool and tennis courts. Close by are the beautiful sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands.

Whilst staying at the camping park you can use all of the facilities these include two swimming pools, there is one indoor pool and an outdoor pool that also has a large spiral slide. As well as the pool there is a boating lake, swings slides and sandpits.

The boating lake provides endless entertainment, you can feed the ducks swimming in the lake, hire a canoe and try getting around the lake and even joy a picnic at the lakeside. If you wish to venture out of the entertainment filled campsite then there are lots of attractions to be seen.

Guests can easily reach Glastonbury where you can visit the tor and the Abbey, the famous city of Wells can also be easily reached where you can see the cathedral or visit some of the quaint little shops.

The area offers a range of walks and places to cycle with many footpaths and cycle routes available from the campsite. Families may wish to travel to Wookey Hole where they can visit the caves and try see how paper is made in the Mill.
