The holiday cottages are all within walking distance of
the River Bladnoch, and the owners are able to offer Salmon and Trout fishing
holidays on 10 miles of their own private water. Free loch fishing for Trout is
included.
Mochrum Park offers 10 miles of varied and productive
fishing on the rivers Bladnoch, Cree and Palnure Burn. Much of this fishing is
excellent open flywater with well maintained banks and little need to wade.
Galloway has 26 Golf courses several are nearby including
Southerness, all are attractively situated with many amidst spectacular
scenery.
Sailing, windsurfing, hill walking, miles of horse riding
within the Galloway Forrest Park, curling and bowling can all be enjoyed.
