activities including birdwatching, walking, golf, bike riding or simply relaxing
on the miles of safe sandy beaches…..and of course dog walking!
The village of Overstrand is a quaint fishing village
with many beautiful traditional Norfolk flint cottages and some architecture by
Sir Edwin Lutyens. The self catering flats are just a 5 minute walk from the
sea where there are cliff top views and stunning beach walks. Local fisherman
also bring in fresh crab and lobster that can be purchased on the day the catch
was brought in. There is also a garden centre and sports pavilion within a
couple of minutes’ walk from Green Lawn House.
Cromer is a charming town that can be easily reached from
the self catering apartments. The town has many unique shops in narrow lanes,
tea rooms, a cinema, a church, supermarkets, a railway station and its own
Royal Cromer Golf Club. Guests can also visit the lovely Cromer Pier which is
famous for its end of pier shows and range of amusements.
