The self catering accommodation is a Grade II listed
property that was probably built in the 16th century to house a large capstan
used to winch up seine boats originally used for pilchard fishing.
Recently the house was refitted to a high standard and
has a modern kitchen and living area including slate flooring throughout and
the addition of a cosy wood burning stove for winter. Lulled by the sound of
the waves you can enjoy sea views from the main bedroom and sitting room.
French windows lead out to the garden and here you can watch the daily
activities of the local fishermen, village events or just relax in the sunshine
and enjoy your holiday.
The owners have two friendly cats and live on site in
self contained premises. The village remains a working environment and in rough
weather boats may be pulled up onto the slipway or garden.
