Little
Sedge accommodates 2 adults in a double bedroom that has bed side tables, a
chest of drawers and a spacious wardrobe. There is also enough space for
another adult if required in the lounge where there is a sofa bed. The lounge
also offers a Freeview TV with DVD player and a CD Hi-Fi system.
The self
catering accommodation boasts a large patio area that has garden furniture for
relaxing in and maybe even al fresco dining. The garden is a few metres from
the boundary of the Afton Nature Reserve and many less common birds & other
wildlife often pay a visit including the Island's native red squirrels.
There are
several local pubs, the nearest ones (within reasonable walking distance) are
Sandpipers (Fat Cat Bar) at the Bay, and the Red Lion at Church Place (near The
Causeway). The High Down Inn located on the old road to Alum Bay is
particularly good for food as is the aforementioned Red Lion.
