There are
a maximum of ten static holiday caravans and five timber lodges all maintained
in first class condition and set in lovely surroundings with a large variety of
birds and wildlife.
The
holiday park is situated in an elevated position across from Coniston Water,
which is only a short walk away, sheltered on three sides by mature oak trees,
with views across to the Coniston Old Man mountain and surrounding fells, the
park opens onto Blawith Common, which is an extensive area of wild and craggy
moorland where you can wander at will, with lovely walks to Beacon Tarn and
Torver.
The
holiday park is an ideal base for touring the lakes, with all visitor
attractions within easy reach, but a car is advisable to get the most out of
your holiday. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
