The cottage is in the tranquil village of Darsham, less than 50 yards from a quiet pub serving good pub food. It's surrounded by the open countryside of the Suffolk Heritage Coast with its lovely beaches, and conveniently located fairly near the A12 and a railway station. 

This part of Suffolk is one of the driest, SUNNIEST areas in the country and offers a wide range of children's, historical, cultural, sporting, dining and shopping activities.  Southwold, Aldeburgh, the Minsmere RSPB Reserve and Dunwich are all close by.
