This is where the Golden Retriever dog originated, first bred by Lord Tweedmouth in 1868. The whole area is steeped in history and retains a very special magic making it the perfect location for dog, animal and nature lovers. 

Set within its own acre of enclosed and beautiful gardens, from where you can fully enjoy the peace, tranquillity and awe-inspiring views up the glen and to the mountains beyond. There is garden furniture, deck chairs and a BBQ, ‘out of the door’ walking is unsurpassed, with an abundance of wildlife and nature.  

Here, the garden also enjoys many different and rare species of birds, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the glen where stags and hinds frequent the fields, and buzzards and eagles can often be seen and heard overhead.
