recently renovated self catering cottage sleeps 4/5 people – the perfect size
for a break away with close friends, relatives or a holiday with your partner.
Each room has been prepared with care and attention using subtle décor to
reveal ageing wooden beams and beautiful Cotswold stone walls.
For
visitors who enjoy walking the countryside, there is so much to enjoy all
around the village and beyond. For specially laid out walks, there is the
Cotswold Way and the Shakespeare Way which many people walk in sections,
leaving cars in strategic places to pick up at the end of a day's walk
(probably refreshed in the middle buy a good pub lunch somewhere). Also if the
open air is your preference there are many other open air attractions to see
including Batsford Arboretum, Cotwold Wildlife Park, falconry centres, Hidcote
Gardens, Kiftsgate and many more National Trust properties to see.
For
sports fans, the Edgbaston Cricket ground in Birmingham holds national and
international cricket tests. Cheltenham Racecourse which of course hosts the
famous Cheltenham Festival (16-19 March 2010) , a big event for the whole area.
